Tibetan Heart Yoga

Yoga came to Tibet from India more than a thousand years ago, and it was secretly absorbed over the centuries into the Gelukpa tradition of the Dalai Lamas.

Gesche Michael Roach discovered unknown Tibetan works on yoga in the Sera monastery in Tibet in the course of his ongoing efforts to find and preserve ancient Buddhist texts. He coined the term ‘heart yoga.’

Sanna Kokkonen is authorised by Lama Marut to teach her own signature ‘Tibetan Heart Yoga’ system.

What is Tibetan Heart Yoga?

Tibetan Heart Yoga blends various meditation and concentration practices with mantra, chanting and yoga philosophy.

Over the years she has witnessed the powerful transformation it can have on practioners and how it opens a window to incorporate ancient wisdom into daily life.
